My wife and I watched the DVD this evening and she thought it was great! I was surprised to find out how much I "didn't know" about something I had done for 30 years.

After watching the BBQ Boys, I have renewed enthusiasm for stepping up to the barbecue. They make it so much fun but they actually really know what they're talking about.

Being from a country that barbecues 12 months a year, I thought I knew it all. But, after reluctantly accepting something that resembled an "instruction video" from my wife, I was amazed at how much more I could do. Not to mention how much fun I had laughing at these two fellas!

I laughed so much I dropped my beer. Good thing I learned so much or I would have been pissed!

So, you're a guy right? You have a favourite pair of jeans and a ball hat most women think is cute at first, but annoying later. People come to your house and with a certain sense of pride and a smirk on your face you explain to them how your entertainment system is set up and that, really, the remote control isn't that complicated. You probably also think you know how to BBQ. Trust me, you don't. I've had your BBQ, and honestly dude, you suck. But don't worry I've got just the thing.
The BBQ Boys: No Brainer BBQ Basics is the Maxim Magazine of interactive BBQ cooking DVDs. If that isn't enough to get you interested, perhaps you're not the man I thought you were. The DVD plays out like a television show set by the pool with hot girls milling about. That's right my friend, HOTTIES! Don't get me wrong though, it's not just eye candy. The hosts, Scott and Craig (who are definitely not eye candy) give complete and simple lessons on the basics of making great meals on the barbecue, shenanigans included. Fish, poultry, pork, beef. It's all there. There are segments on selecting the right beer or wine to go with your meal (which is great because you don't have a clue about wine, do you?) as well as lessons for picking the right fish and beef. You don't get hit over the head with marinades and recipes that have enough ingredients to make you feel like you're back in Mr. Malhatra's chemistry class either. This DVD has all the basics of great BBQ cooking. And basic is good for you because otherwise your going to screw it up. You know I'm right.
So you're probably saying "Dude, I have to watch a two and a half hour DVD every time I'm gonna BBQ?" No Dude, you don't. The interactive menu allows you to skip to the segments you need to check out. Unlike using a cookbook, No Brainer BBQ Basics lets you do something cookbooks don't: sit on the couch and watch TV!
Do you like BBQ? Of course you do. Do you like DVDs? Of course you do. Do you like feeding your friends juicy, well-prepared BBQ masterpieces? You will if you pick up The BBQ Boys: No Brainer BBQ Basics. Hey, maybe that girl who actually likes your hat will get if for you for Christmas.

This DVD is great! Why hasn't anyone done something like this before? I get to sit back, have some fun and actually learn something - like how not to serve up pieces of rubber for dinner. My wife thanks you - really, really thanks you!

Before the BBQ Boys I had no idea of the meaning of barbequing. It was a total mystery, a black hole of charred food - a means for the destruction of groceries. Now with the basics in place, thanks to my BBQ Boys DVD, I no longer fear the barbecue, nor do I fear my husband doing the cooking. We've had the best BBQ summer ever!
