PREPPING THE GRILL
Once the grill is nice and hot, just before you slap on the food, don't forget to "prep" the grill to help food from sticking to the grate. It's quick and easy.
Pour some vegetable oil onto a small cloth or towel then rub it over the entire grill surface. If the heat's a bit intense, use a pair of tongs to grip the towel. Vegetable oil has a high smoke point and virtually no taste so it won't change the flavor of your food.
Paper towel also works but be careful - if you rub too hard it will start to fall apart and leave bits of paper on the grate.
