Here's where we've tossed anything and everything we thought were great time wasters.
There's no point hanging out by the pool on a hot summer day without great music. Our much cooler than us DJ's, Loxley and JD, keep the party going with no end of hot and tasty mixes. Here's a little bit about them:
JD:
Originally born in Caracas, Venezuela, JD is now full-blooded Canadian. We've guided him through the sacred rituals of Canadian culture - buying a half-sack at the LCB, Yukon breakfasts at the Tomahawk, smelly hockey gear, and Canadian waitresses - to mention but a few.
His music influences are Radio Head, Archive, Lamb and Smashing Pumpkins. When he's not performing live, he's creating music in his home studio and staying up until 4am playing SOCOM on Playstation.
JD is also an experienced and talented motion graphic designer and video editor. Actually, he edited our DVD! Wow, what a stud!
Loxley:
Loxley was born in Murryville, a small town in Canada that no longer exists. We all felt so sad when we heard. - poor dude. He grew up surrounded by Jamaicans so now he smokes big giant spliffs all day and eats goat roti until he passes out while listening to "Get Up, Stand Up" for the 762,308th time... no, just kidding.
As a kid, he listened to a whole lot of reggae and old-school rap. His first jam session with a band was when he was 9 years old. At 10, he fronted a nine-piece reggae/country fusion band and toured Eastern Europe... just kidding again.
Music that grooves Loxley's world include; Portishead, DJ Shadow and Chemical Brothers.
